Right now, I have a sleepy husband sitting next to me reading an ECON text book; I'm blogging and looking at Facebook (of course).

We (or Mark) helped move my parents' furniture in their house tonight (being majorly remodeled). As he was lifting gigantic pieces with his gigantic muscles, I was sitting in the kitchen eating brownies. My mom and sister were in there with me, and my mom said something along the lines of "men are so simple, they just need food and sex!" (for those of you who know my mother, this is no shocking statement. It's one of her top ten I'd say). Oh and by the way, that is a total MYTH! Mark has helped me completely dispell that rumor (that I was raised on....awful!).

I said something in return that I will not put on this blog because I want to uphold the respect that my friends and family have for me....(I giggled. It was what one might consider perverted, but for me it was more along the lines of blunt and honest. In front of my mother. Weird relationship? perhaps!)

Mark had trailed in by then and man he was cute. He was sweating from all the lifting but had a big smile on his face. I thought about everything that he does for me....and thinking how grateful I am for his never-ending service towards me and in tonight's case, my family. He wakes up at least an hour before I do to read his scriptures, shower, and make us lunches. By then, I'm finally turning my alarm clock off and rushing to the shower as he intercepts me with a big bear hug and kiss. He then makes me breakfast and makes sure my lunch is packed and cell phone is in hand. Do I sound disabled yet? We pray and head out the door for him to drop me off so that he can park the car and get to his classes at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday. He is so dang sweet...I sure sound like a slacker! And on top of his full-time school schedule he brings home the bacon. And I spend it. And he manages to work out and lose weight. I work out and I gain it. ha! He got called to be the Elder's Quorum President in our ward a little over a month ago and I was not at all surprised. He is one of the most non-judgemental people that I know and is the best at giving people the benefit of the doubt. This must be why he deals with me so well! And most of all...he likes to have fun and not be too serious...and that is key to being happy!

Anyway, I have pictures but they're not on my computer yet. But basically I love my husband to pieces, and it is time for bed!

Oh really quick, as if I don't sound lazy enough.....I fell asleep on him two nights ago on the couch for about a half an hour. When we got up, there was a drool spot on his shirt! Gross! Definitely not the first time that has happened either! K the next post will be more positive on my part haha

We were in the kitchen a couple of days ago. Okay, not uncommon, but it's what was said in the kitchen that makes me laugh!

I think I was probably whining to Mark about how I don't want to be fat. Not uncommon either! So Mark grabbed me and gave me one of his big bear hugs, let go, went into the living room, paused and said,

"Honey, if you ate nothing but fried chicken and mashed potatoes for the next thirty years, then you'd be my dream woman"

Is that a good thing, babe? What the heck is that supposed to mean? Thanks? You're a jerk? Am I not YOUR DREAM WOMAN NOW, YOU DORK?! I just have no idea.

This is Mark, and to my credit I was just saying that if you were to eat nothing but fried chicked and mashed potatoes for the next thirty years you would still look great.  You have such a cute, petite figure that even a little extra poundage couldn't hurt.

Okay thanks honey, that's what I thought :) and I'm so proud of you for writing on "our" blog!! Maybe I should say controversial things more often....:) love you
