Philadelphia trip

Ahh so the reason that I am so behind on blogging is because my computer is a dinosaur and ran out of space for my pictures. So, I saved them all (actually my Mark did) on to an external hard drive and then proceeded to delete them off of my computer, only to realize that it would still no longer download any more pictures.

So here I am, blogging on Mark's dinosaur computer while my pictures are downloading into his iPhoto account.
Phew. That was long and unnecessary. Moving on.

The past few weeks have been exciting. Noah and my visit to Pennsylvania to see my folks in their new territory was short but amazing (June 28th-July 3rd). Mama Dodie never fails to show us a good time! We started out the first morning with a 3 mile walk to and from a nature preserve close to my parents' home in Wayne, PA. It's beautiful. Noah had an absolute ball. Later, we hit up the local Anthropologie {Mecca}, journeyed downtown to Independence Hall and The Liberty Bell, met up with my dearest friend Leanne (thank you for driving 5 hours just to see me! LOVED it), attended my parents' Spanish/English ward, and walked the King of Prussia mall (the second largest in the U.S.). For only being there 4 days, we covered a lot of territory and Noah sure had a ball with Lucy and Charlie (the dogs). The only thing that would have made it perfect would be spending more time with my dad and having Mark there. It's too bad that they both work so darn hard :)

Noah did a great job sleeping through the night even with the time difference. On July 3rd, we woke up at 4:45 am (2:45 UT time) to go to the airport. We arrived at about 9:45 but didn't get naps or even fall asleep til past 11 that night. This threw us off the most by far! The 4th was still so much fun but we were sleepy. And then of course we left for our 2nd California vacation of the summer the next day...
